Return Policy and Order Cancellation (Ship all returns via UPS or FedEx Ground)
Inspect Your Merchandise: It is the Customers responsibility to inspect all merchandise upon receipt for:
- Any damage (external or internal to the packaging material)
- Accuracy of product shipped
- Workmanship
- Manufacturing defect
- Manufacturing specifications on Custom Orders
Problems with ANY of the above must be reported to CustomerService@Inet-Dist.com within 10 days of receipt of merchandise.
Goods received damaged: If an order is received with the box damaged and the contents obviously damaged, and the driver is still there (it was not left for you), you should refuse
to accept the delivery and instruct the driver to return it. Then, E-mail Inet Distributing, Inc. at CustomerService@Inet-Dist.com.
If you open an order and find it damaged, keep the packaging and E-mail Inet Distributing, Inc. at CustomerService@Inet-Dist.com with a description of the damage. Retain all packaging material and all damaged items until instructed otherwise. If you have a digital camera, pictures are a great help in dealing with claims more quickly.
We will arrange to ship a replacement item or repair parts to you. If a damage claim must be filed with the carrier, we will let you know the disposition of the damaged item and packaging.
Often they want to pick up the damaged item for inspection. They have two weeks from the time the damage claim is filed with the carrier to pick it up or inspect it. If the damage is not to severe, we do reserve the right to send out replacement repair parts.
Return of Goods, which are not damaged: If you simply wish to return something you have ordered and received, there is a 20% restocking charge and you will be expected to pay the shipping
both ways, to you and back to us, and for insuring the returned item. Custom orders made to your specifications cannot be returned for refund, for any reason.
Notify Inet Distributing, Inc. by E-mail to CustomerService@Inet-Dist.com that you wish to return an item and request a Return Authorization Number.
We will E-mail you shipping instructions and a Return Authorization Number.
When the item is returned, inspected, and determined to be in good condition, a credit will be issued to your credit card account. The amount of the refund will be the initial charge for the
item (not including the initial shipping charge) less 20% restocking charge.
You will have paid for the return freight via UPS or FedEx ground and appropriate insurance. If the item is damaged or not received by us, it will be your responsibility as the shipper to file the insurance claim with the carrier. (That is UPS and FedEx policy, not ours. The party who ships the item is the only one who can file a claim.)
Merchandise held in excess of 45 days cannot be returned for any reason.
Order Cancellation: If it is necessary to cancel an order, please do so by E-mail before close of business the following day to CustomerService@Inet-Dist.com. If you credit card has already been charged, a transaction fee of $10.00 will be assessed, and reflected in the subsequent credit to your card.
Order processing time can vary from two days to two weeks, depending on stock and workflow. If you need to cancel an order, we will do everything we can to stop it from shipping. However,
we cannot guarantee cancellation after two days.
Cancellations and / or changes for custom door orders must be received before the work has been started. Obviously, once the material has been cut it cannot be put back in stock.
